90s music

I can honestly say, if I could've realized then that the 90s would fly by that fast I would've savored each moment a lot more.

Seemed like daily there was badass music coming out. It was just normal in the 90's. Didn't realize that would come to a screeching halt, never to return. Nirvana, AIC, toadies, bush, live, pearl jam, candlebox, butthole surfers, smashing pumpkins, greenday, weezer, STP, NIN, rage, chili peppers, soundgarden, radio head, tool, blind melon, etc, etc.

Gotta love the off kilter weirdness that was mainstream in the early-mid 90's before MTV sold its soul.
Gotta love the nuances bands put in their recorded music in the 90's. Harmonic singing feedback, blooming single notes that sustained forever, pick scrapes, and all things most technical players would consider undesirable traits in music. These are the simple things that made the 90's rock music stand out.

But there is also something else about the 90s rock videos, they are just so full of depth and soul compared to the shit that comes out now. This video really has an atmosphere to it like Soundgarden black hole sun and Nirvana smells like teen spirit. There is something a little sad captured in it I think.

99% of females had no tattoos, fat wasn't cool, raves and concerts and sports....the Cold War was over, 9/11 hadn't happened, sex and ping pong, hanging outdoors, talking to people, dances, bonfires, beer, road trips, the X-Files, dozens of awesome bands, shows and movies, a tiny budget deficit, Reality Bites, the dawning of a new tech age, the future looked bright, oh well, whatever, nevermind.

I've fallen down a hole of 90s nostalgia and I can't get out. But that's ok, life is better here
